Dan is a meteorologist with over 10 years operational forecasting experience in a variety of sectors, including agriculture, winter gritting, renewables, transport and utilities. Part of his role includes presenting weather forecasts on BBC Look East, a regional TV programme in the east of England. He enjoys combining his passion for meteorology and IT skills to create engaging explainer graphics in TV broadcasts, published articles and on social media.

He works voluntarily with the Royal Meteorological Society (RMetS) journal “Weather”, leading the Weather Images team, and also designed the Tornado and Storm Research Organisation (TORRO) website and serve as their webmaster. Through my specific interest in convection (thunderstorms) I can often be found most springs in the U.S. Plains during the peak of the tornado season.
